Spot Illustrations. I was presented with a magazine article on how to prepare for hiking the Appalachian trail, and assigned to draft 3 spot illustrations to go along with it. The article mentioned packing smartly, conserving one’s energy, and preparing the proper living accommodations for the trip. I felt that these were important pieces of advice, and based my work off them. Mixed media using colored pencils, scrapbook paper, stickers, twine, and collage.
